On this occasion, I was entrusted with handling all aspects of the design for a futsal sports event project. This event was quite special because the main trophy was being competed for, the Regent's Cup, which held a special pride for the participants. In this project, I was responsible for designing various visual requirements, from the design concept and the event's visual identity to the supporting elements that would create an engaging and professional match atmosphere. One of the main goals of my design concept was to create a professional league-like atmosphere, even though the participants were children aged 13 and under. I wanted the young players to experience a more serious, competitive, and memorable match. Through strong design and a well-designed event atmosphere, I strove to create an experience that wasn't just a regular match, but a memorable moment for them as part of their journey in the world of sports. Creating a professional league atmosphere for children certainly presented its own challenges. On the one hand, a competitive atmosphere needed to be created so they learned the spirit of competition, discipline, and sportsmanship. On the other hand, the approach used had to remain child-friendly and enjoyable. Therefore, the designs I create strive to balance a professional feel with elements that remain energetic, cheerful, and in keeping with children's personalities. From this experience, I realized that design isn't just about making something visually appealing. Design also plays a crucial role in creating atmosphere, experience, and emotions for those involved. A sporting event, for example, can feel much more alive when its visual identity is designed with a clear and consistent concept.
