About this Gig
A clean Ubuntu VPS with n8n running in Docker, reachable over HTTPS, backed up and documented. Delivered once, ready to use.
What you get:
- Ubuntu hardened: firewall (ufw), fail2ban, automatic security updates, SSH keys only
- Docker and Docker Compose installed
- n8n with its own PostgreSQL database behind a reverse proxy (Caddy or nginx) with a free Let's Encrypt certificate
- Daily backup of database and workflows, with an optional copy to your cloud storage
- README with every command, path and credential you need
The same setup works for other self-hosted apps (Uptime Kuma, Nextcloud, Ghost, Vaultwarden): pick yours in the requirements.
Hetzner, Contabo, DigitalOcean, Vultr, OVH: any provider is fine. You need a fresh Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04 server with at least 2 GB RAM and a domain or subdomain pointed at it.
This is a one-time installation. Once delivered, the server is yours: a later change or a second app is a new order.

FAQ
Which provider should I use?
Any. Hetzner and Contabo are the cheapest for 4 GB RAM; DigitalOcean and Vultr are fine too. I do not resell hosting.
Can you install on a server that already runs other things?
Case by case. Message me first with what is on it; a dirty server may need the Premium package or a custom offer.
Do you maintain it afterwards?
No. You get a README that covers updates, backups and restore. If you prefer a change done by me later, it is a new order.
Do you keep access?
No. Credentials are deleted at delivery; revoke my SSH key or password right after.
