About this Gig
Looking for a beta reader is an important step and I feel honored to help you in this adventure. I will work to provide honest and valuable feedback, sharing emotions felt while reading.
The final report I will provide will be centered around:
- Plot and rhythm (e.g. is the story engaging? Are there any dead spots?)
- Characters (e.g. are they well developed and believable?)
- Consistency (e.g. can I spot inconsistencies or plot holes?)
- Dialogues (e.g. do they sound natural?)
- Emotional impact (e.g. what emotions are evoked? What can I say about the opening and the ending?)
In addition, I will not hesitate to point out specific pages/paragraphs that have raised my attention, with inline comments where possible.

FAQ
Do you use AI in Beta Reading?
Absolutely no. You can do yourself, on my side that would not give you any added value.
Is it ok to work with an online text?
It depends, but by experience, I prefer to avoid. Online texts have the tendency to be changed under your eyes, something that does not allow to create a coherent view of the book.
How do you work?
Generally I create a file where i take notes of what catches my attention during the first reading, including doubts and questions. At the end, I review what I wrote, integrating it with my final thoughts. Often, this allows me to detect inconsistencies, underline holes, highlight evolutions.
