About me
I have 20+ years of experience in the publishing and journalism industries and I am the author of two books (my memoir, which was traditionally sold, and a self-published nonfiction book).
I currently work as a literary agent and book coach/editor.
I also teach at writing conferences throughout the U.S. on writing query letters, book proposals, planning your book launch, and memoir and fiction writing.
I love memoir/nonfiction, health, self-help, romance, debut writers, and book club fiction, but I am open to all genres!
Send me a message, and let’s chat about your amazing book!

I couldn’t be more thrilled about my decision to hire Marisa to do a beta read of my manuscript. Her feedback was professional, insightful, kind, and encouraging — if you feel your work is ready for an objective review, hire her!! (Why wouldn’t you want an actual literary agent to be your beta reader?!? I jumped at the chance and you should, too!)
