Why do I need to contact you before ordering?
Subscription projects vary a lot — number of plans, what gets locked behind the paywall, whether you need trials. A short chat gets you the right package instead of a mid-project scope change.
Do I need my own Stripe account?
Yes, and that's how it should be — the money goes directly to you, and you keep full control. Setup takes about 15 minutes and I'll walk you through it. Note Stripe isn't available in every country, so check your region first.
What payment methods will my customers have?
Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe Checkout, plus regional methods Stripe supports in your country. You can offer monthly, quarterly or yearly plans in any currency.
What happens when a customer's card fails on renewal?
Stripe retries automatically on a schedule you set. If it keeps failing, the webhook revokes access and the customer gets an email to update their card. Nothing is manual.
Can I manage subscribers myself after delivery?
Yes. Pro and Advanced include an admin panel where you see subscribers, revenue and can manage accounts. Customers also get their own portal to upgrade, cancel or resume.
Will I own the code?
Completely. You get the full repository, the database and the deployment, all under your accounts. No lock-in, no monthly fee to me.
Do you handle taxes and VAT?
I set up Stripe Tax, which calculates VAT and sales tax automatically based on your customer's location. Filing and compliance stay with you and your accountant.
