I'll also verify the consistency of:

• character attributes
• timelines
• geographical details

Any questions I have for you will be queried in the returned MS Word document (using tracking changes) with a clear explanation of the question itself as well as suggested solutions where applicable.

You will receive:

• one copy of your manuscript that includes tracked changes
• one copy with all changes accepted
• a style sheet

Your style sheet will include a list of all proper nouns in your book as well as lists of your style and spelling preferences where they differ from your style manual of choice. It's a valuable reference to ensure continuity of work if you pass your manuscript on to a proofreader next or when it's time to write your follow-up book.

This service is for a copy edit and isn't suitable if your manuscript still needs developmental or stylistic edits.
