What do you need from me to get started?
A description of what your API needs to do: the main data models, what actions users will perform, and whether you need authentication. If you have a schema, wireframes, or existing docs, even better. The more context upfront, the faster we move.
Can you work with my existing codebase?
Yes, as long as it's in one of the supported frameworks (Django, Node.js/Express, or Spring Boot). Share the repo and a short summary of the current structure and I'll tell you if it fits the scope before you order.
What exactly counts as a revision?
Any change to existing functionality: adjusting endpoint behavior, modifying response structure, updating validation rules, or fixing a bug. Adding new endpoints or new models is additional scope, quoted separately.
Which framework should I use: Django, Node.js, or Spring Boot?
Django works best for data-heavy or Python-based projects. Node.js for lightweight, fast APIs. Spring Boot for Java teams or enterprise requirements. Not sure? Message me with your project and I'll recommend the right fit.
Will the API work with my frontend or mobile app?
