I will upgrade PHP and patch critical security vulnerabilities
Senior LInux Server Admin
About this Gig
Is your server running a vulnerable PHP version? Recently disclosed vulnerabilities CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619 affect PHP installations, and unpatched servers are at risk.
I will safely upgrade PHP on your server to a patched version and make sure your websites keep running without downtime.
What I do:
- Check your current PHP version and exposure to CVE-2026-109618 / CVE-2026-109619
- Take a full backup before any change
- Upgrade PHP (CLI, PHP-FPM, Apache/Nginx modules) to a patched version
- Reinstall and verify required extensions (mysqli, curl, gd, mbstring, intl, etc.)
- Test your sites (WordPress, Laravel, custom PHP) for compatibility
- Restart and verify services, check logs for errors
- Send you a short report of what was changed
Supported: Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux; cPanel, Plesk, CyberPanel, DirectAdmin; Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed.
Please message me before ordering so I can check your setup.

FAQ
Will my website go down during the upgrade?
Downtime is usually only a few seconds while services restart. I always take a backup first so we can roll back if needed.
What access do you need?
SSH (root or sudo) or control panel access. I recommend creating a temporary user for me and removing it after the job is done.
Is my WordPress/Laravel site compatible with the new PHP version?
I check plugins, themes and dependencies before upgrading. If something is incompatible, I’ll tell you before making changes.
Can you do this on shared hosting?
No. On shared hosting PHP is managed by your host, so you can usually switch the version from your panel. This gig is for VPS and dedicated servers.
