Over the past 4+ years I've worked as a freelance full-stack developer, taking on a wide range of projects — from early-stage SaaS products to client-facing business systems and ecommerce platforms. Most of my work sits at the intersection of product thinking and engineering. I don't just build what I'm told — I ask the right questions, flag potential issues early, and make sure what gets built actually solves the right problem. My core stack is Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Supabase, but I've worked across a broader range of tools depending on what the project needs including TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Redis, Socket.io, Prisma, and AWS S3. On the payment and integration side, I've worked with Stripe, Flutterwave, and MTN Mobile Money which has been especially useful for projects targeting East African markets where local payment methods matter. Some highlights from this period: Built a TikTok-native ecommerce platform for East African creators, handling everything from product listings and storefronts to vendor onboarding and payment flows. Developed an AI-powered proposal and contract tool for freelancers, from initial concept through to a deployed MVP with a waitlist. Delivered a full offline LMS for a school running on a local Windows server, including CI/CD pipeline setup and production hardening. Built and maintained inventory and business management systems for local clients, including database recovery, server migration, and staff handoff documentation. I take clean, maintainable code seriously. Every project I deliver is something the client or the next developer can actually work with.
