FAQ
Emergent won't let me export my data. Can you still get it out?
In almost every case, yes. If the platform blocks a direct export, the data can usually be pulled through the app layer or a direct database connection instead, then moved to hosting you control.
Will my app work the same after migrating off the platform?
Yes. I rebuild the environment on the new host, reconnect the database, and test every core flow before handover. Same app, your infrastructure.
What do I actually own once you're done?
Everything: the repo, the database, the hosting accounts, the domain. Everything gets set up under your accounts, not mine.
My deploy fails or shows a white screen. Is that a Basic fix?
Usually. Most failed deploys come down to a config issue, an environment variable, or a broken build step. Send me the error and I'll confirm before you order.
Do you work with Lovable too, or just Emergent and Replit?
All three. The platform changes, the job stays the same: get the code out, get the data out, get it live somewhere you control.
Will my Supabase backend survive a migration?
Yes. I preserve and reconnect auth, database, and API connections so nothing breaks in the move, and set it up properly if it wasn't configured that way to begin with.
Can you set up my custom domain and SSL during deployment?
Yes, that's included in every package. Domain, DNS, and SSL configured properly as part of the deploy, not left for you to figure out after.
How long does a full platform exit take?
Typically the 8-day Premium window covers migration, database move, and security setup. Simpler single-platform migrations often finish within the 5-day Standard timeline.
What access do you need from me?
Collaborator or export access to your current project, and your target hosting accounts if you already have them. If you don't, I'll set them up under your ownership.
What if I'm not sure whether I need a fix or a full migration?
Message me your live link and what's happening. I'll review it and tell you honestly which package fits before you spend anything.
