FAQ
Do I need to provide a CAD file for you to create the renders?
Yes, I work directly from 3D model files to produce accurate renders. I accept SolidWorks (.SLDPRT, .SLDASM), Fusion 360 (.f3d), STEP, IGES, STL, and OBJ formats. If you only have a sketch or reference images and need the 3D model built first, message me and I can include the CAD modeling
What is the difference between KeyShot and SolidWorks Visualize for rendering?
Both produce photorealistic results. KeyShot offers a larger material and HDRI environment library and is generally faster for complex lighting setups. SolidWorks Visualize integrates tightly with SolidWorks assemblies and is excellent for engineering presentations with accurate material properties.
Can you create renders that meet Amazon main image requirements?
Yes. Amazon requires the main product image to have a pure white background (#FFFFFF), the product occupying at least 85% of the frame, no additional text, logos, or graphics, and a minimum resolution of 1500px on the longest side. Every hero image I produce meets these specifications by default.
What if I need renders in multiple colorways or materials?
Multiple color or material variants are included in the Standard (2 variants) and Premium (5 variants) packages. If you need more variants than the package includes, message me before ordering and I quote a custom rate per additional variant.
Can you render a full assembly or just individual parts?
Both. I render individual parts, complete product assemblies, and exploded views showing internal components. For complex assemblies with many moving parts, contact me before ordering so I can assess the file and confirm delivery time.
What resolution will the final renders be delivered at?
Minimum 3000 pixels on the longest side for all packages, which is suitable for print, Amazon listings, pitch decks, and social media. For print advertising or large-format display, I can render at higher resolutions mention this requirement before ordering.
Can you match the render style to my existing brand or marketing materials?
Yes. If you have existing marketing visuals, brand guidelines, or a specific aesthetic you want to match, send them with your brief and I align the lighting, background, and presentation style accordingly.
Will you provide a transparent background version of the renders?
Yes. Transparent background PNG versions are included in every package useful for placing the product on different backgrounds in Photoshop, Canva, or your website CMS without any white halo around the edges.
How long does rendering take for a complex product?
Single-component products with simple geometry: 1 to 2 days. Multi-component assemblies or products with complex textures: 3 to 4 days. Premium packages with turntable animations: 5 days. I always confirm delivery time after reviewing your file before the order starts.
Can you create lifestyle renders showing the product in a real-world scene?
Yes. Lifestyle renders showing the product in a kitchen, on a desk, in an outdoor setting, or with human hands are included in Standard and Premium packages. Tell me the setting you want and I build a scene that matches your target market and brand aesthetic.
