FOR THE BEST RESULT
Mixing can polish a good recording, but it can't fully fix heavy timing issues, noise or distortion. So:
1. Record in any recording program (DAW).
2. Import the instrumental at the very start of the project and record with headphones.
3. Record line by line and keep your best takes.
4. Export your vocals as a WAV (no effects) from the start of the project.

Can you fix vocals that are out of time?
Up to a point. Standard and Premium include manual timing correction. Small drifts are fixable. If a take is far off the beat, I’ll tell you before starting and suggest re-recording line by line.
Do I need to know the BPM?
No. Just record with headphones while listening to the instrumental, from the start of the project. If you use a click track, tell me the BPM.
What files do I need to send?
Your vocals as a WAV (no effects) and the instrumental, both exported from the same start point. If the files are large, send a Drive or Dropbox link.
Can you use the original recording of a song?
No. I only work with instrumentals you own or have the rights to. I don’t process ripped or extracted audio from existing recordings.
I don’t have an instrumental. Can you help?
Yes, with the Premium package: an original instrumental in a similar style and tempo. It is not a copy of any existing song.
How should I record my vocals?
Use a quiet room, keep the mic close to your mouth, wear headphones, and record in a DAW. Record line by line. Ask me for tips, it’s free.
What counts as a revision?
Changes to the mix: levels, effects, tuning. Re-recorded vocals or new timing work after delivery are a new order or an extra.
Do you master the song?
I deliver the mix at a loudness suited to YouTube and social media. Full mastering for streaming platforms is not included.
