About this gig
KDP CHILDRENS BOOK PUBLISHING AND FORMATTING
Want your childrens book live on Amazon beautifully illustrated and ready to sell?
Publishing a childrens book on Amazon KDP is more complex than most people realize. The illustrations have to be the right resolution, the text layout has to be age-appropriate, the bleed and trim settings have to be exact and one mistake can get your book rejected.
I'm a professional children's book publisher and illustrator with experience publishing picture books, early readers, and middle grade books on Amazon KDP. I handle the technical and creative side so your story reaches the readers it deserves.
Here's what I'll do for you:
- Illustrate your story
- Format your manuscript and illustrations
- Set up your book cover
- Write a compelling book description
- Choose the right categories and keywords
- Upload and publish your finished book
- Share the live link once approved
This gig is perfect for:
- Parents
- First-time children's book authors
- Coaches and educators
- Authors

I’m Skye, a children’s storybook expert who helps to turn ideas into engaging, age-appropriate, and publish-ready books.
Many of my clients come to me with just an idea or message, unsure how to shape it into a proper children’s story. I guide you step-by-step, from developing your idea, structuring the story, and refining the language, all the way to creating a book that’s ready for publishing.
My goal is simple: to help you create a story children will love and parents will appreciate, without the confusion or stress.
Let’s bring your story to life. Send me a DM and let’s get started.

FAQ
Do I need to provide the text already written?
Yes; this gig covers formatting and publishing, not writing. If you need writing help too, message me and we can discuss a custom package.
How many pages does a typical children's book have?
Picture books are usually 24–32 pages. Early readers range from 32–64 pages. My packages are scoped accordingly — message me for longer books.
What if Amazon rejects the book after upload?
I'll troubleshoot and resubmit at no extra charge until it's live.
Can you match a specific illustration style I have in mind?
Send me a reference image and I'll let you know if it's achievable before you order.
