1. Do I need to purchase a new Shopify theme?
Not necessarily. If you're happy with your existing theme, I can review whether it can be upgraded. If a new theme would be a better fit, I'll recommend suitable options. Any paid theme licence is an additional cost.
2. Will my Shopify store remain live while you work?
Yes! I'll work on an unpublished copy of your theme, so your existing store can continue operating as normal. Once everything has been reviewed and tested, we'll arrange to publish the updated version.
3. Will I lose my existing products, customers or orders?
No. A theme upgrade or redesign doesn't normally affect your existing products, customers or order history. I'll also check that important functionality is working correctly with the updated theme.
4. Can you recommend apps and features to improve my store?
Absolutely. As part of the review, I'll look at your existing apps and identify features or improvements that may be useful for your business. App installation and configuration will depend on your chosen package. Any subscription costs are separate.
5. Do you review shipping, payments and other Shopify settings?
Yes. I'll review essential settings including shipping, payments, taxes and notifications, and flag anything that needs attention. Straightforward adjustments may be included, while more complex configurations can be quoted separately.
6. What do you need from me to get started?
I'll need your website URL, a little information about what you'd like to improve and collaborator access to your Shopify store. I'll guide you through providing access once we've agreed on the project.
What if my store needs more work than the package includes?
Every Shopify store is different. I'll review your existing website before you order to make sure the scope is clear. If additional work is needed, I'll explain what's involved and provide a custom offer.
