I lead data services for a community bank: data analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, automation, AI and internal application development. My work spans data warehousing, ETL and data integration, SQL development, data quality, dashboards, process optimization, workflow automation, internal applications and AI-enabled solutions. I work with teams across the organization to understand how a process actually runs, find the bottlenecks and manual handoffs, connect information across systems, and build practical solutions from requirements through deployment and support. I also support AI training and adoption, helping people use generative and agentic AI effectively and responsibly. The through line is the same as my freelance work: take messy, disconnected information and turn it into clean data, reliable reporting and processes that no longer need a person to babysit them.

I partnered directly with departments across the bank to understand business needs, investigate data issues, identify inefficient or manual processes, and turn those needs into practical technical solutions. Over time, my responsibilities expanded across data engineering, business intelligence, database development, data integration, process automation, and internal tools, providing the technical foundation for my transition into Data Services leadership.

Completed a rotational community banking program with hands-on exposure to teller operations, new accounts, core operations, loan administration, lending, deposit operations, wires, product support, netowrking, IT, and finance. The experience gave me a strong understanding of how banking processes connect across departments and helped shape the way I approach data and technology today: understand the business process first, then build the right solution. It also strengthened my skills in communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and working directly with employees and customers across the organization.
