About this Gig
You've decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign to crowdfund your new RPG zine. Or maybe your project is wrapped up and you're ready to deliver! Whatever the case, if you are a D&D or TTRPG ziner, you need to make sure your text is as polished as it can be be. Hiring me as your copy editor is your next step.
I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons for almost 10 years, and writing creatively for over 20. I've written my own adventures and edited many others that have gone to print (see my portfolio below). In short, I'm the perfect combination of fun and professional to take your adventure from amateur to pro!
I WILL:
- Proofread for spelling, grammar, and formatting issues
- Provide gameplay insights
- Provide light sentence structure rewrites and make small creative additions (standard)
- Write stellar narrative descriptions for people, places, and items (premium)
- Make your zine "printer" ready!
I WILL NOT:
- Write the adventure for you
- Communicate with printer services
- Change your narrative voice (you are you!)
I adore dungeon delving and want to make sure yours is presented in the best possible light. Click SELECT, or send me a message to get started.

FAQ
Have you been a DM/GM before?
Yes! I have experience in the driver's seat. I've even co-DMed and created a story with a partner - but that's a whole story in and of itself.
What TTRPG systems are you familiar with?
D&D 5e is my go-to. I've played Pathfinder 2.0, and read the rulebook for Starfinder as well. I am currently helping a client edit their guidebook for a brand new TTRPG using a whole new game system.
How long can a campaign/adventure be?
Size doesn't matter! Even if your zine is 1 or 2 pages, it still needs an editor's eye. Most projects I've worked on have been long-form campaigns (200-300 pages), but there are a whole lot of smaller publications out there that need some TLC.
What programs and file formats do you use?
I'm exceptionally familiar with Microsoft Word (.doc and .docx) and Google Docs. If for some reason you've composed your copy in a spreadsheet, I'm good with those too. Please message me if you've used a different program to write your zine and need to maintain file formats for publication.
What professional experience do you have?
I've been a copywriter in the marketing industry for over 5 years. I was the primary content writer and editor for the whole agency.
