About this Gig
Do you want honest, thoughtful feedback that helps you see what is working in your story and what needs improvement before you publish?
YOU'RE WELCOME!
I'm a professional beta reader who provides detailed and honest feedback to help writers strengthen their manuscripts and feel more confident about their work. Whether you've written a fantasy novel, romance, memoir, or another type of fiction, I'll read your manuscript from a readers perspective and share clear, useful feedback.
As your beta reader, I'll look at your storys overall flow, pacing, character development, dialogue, emotional impact, plot consistency, clarity, and engagement. I'll point out areas that feel confusing, rushed, slow, or underdeveloped while also highlighting what is already working well.
My goal is not to rewrite your voice or change your story into something it isn't. I want to give you a genuine readers experience and practical feedback you can use during your revision.

FAQ
What types of manuscripts do you beta read?
I beta read fantasy, romance, memoirs, novels, and other fiction and nonfiction manuscripts. If your genre is not listed, feel free to message me first.
What will you look for during the beta read?
I’ll focus on pacing, plot, character development, dialogue, clarity, emotional impact, story flow, engagement, and any confusing or underdeveloped areas.
Will I receive honest feedback?
Yes. I provide honest and constructive feedback while respecting your writing style and creative vision. I’ll point out both strengths and areas that could be improved.
Can you beta read a memoir?
Absolutely. I can provide feedback on the story flow, emotional impact, clarity, pacing, structure, and how effectively your experiences connect with the reader.
Do you edit or rewrite the manuscript?
Beta reading is mainly focused on reader feedback rather than line-by-line editing. If you need editing after the beta read, you can contact me to discuss it.
