What do you need from me to get started?
The bug, ideally with a screenshot or 30-second screen recording, plus access to the repository and any steps to reproduce it. If there is a staging URL, send that too. The more I can reproduce it myself, the faster it is fixed.
What if you cannot fix it?
I look before I quote. If I take the order and cannot solve it, I refund you in full. That is why I ask you to message me with the repo first rather than ordering blind.
Will you work on code you did not write?
Yes, that is most of this gig. Legacy React, half-finished builds, projects handed over by a developer who left. I read the codebase before touching it.
Do you fix backend issues too?
My specialty is frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript. I can trace a bug into the API layer and tell you exactly what is wrong, and I handle Node.js and Firebase issues. Deep backend or database work is outside this gig.
Can you push the fix to my repo?
Yes. Add me to the repository and I will work on a branch and open a pull request so you can review every line before it merges. Or I can send you a patch file if you prefer.
