Responsibilities: Develop precise 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks / Siemens NX/ MasterCAM Design mechanical components, jigs, fixtures, dies, and tooling based on customer requirements. Perform reverse engineering, including STL/STEP/IGES file cleanup, surface repair, and converting scan data into manufacturable models. Create CNC toolpaths, CAM programming, and determine appropriate feeds & speeds for machining. Conduct machining feasibility analysis, material selection, and provide cost-effective design solutions. Apply GD&T standards for tolerance definition and perform tolerance stack-up analysis. Collaborate with production and machining teams to resolve technical and manufacturing issues. Inspect prototype parts, verify dimensional accuracy, and recommend design improvements. Prepare technical documentation including BOMs, operation sheets, and process documentation.
