How do I know the chatbot will answer accurately from my documents and not make things up?
This is the core of RAG architecture. The system retrieves relevant chunks from your documents first, then instructs the language model to answer only from those chunks — explicitly forbidding it from using outside knowledge.
What file types and document sizes can you work with?
PDF, DOCX, TXT, CSV, and web URLs are all supported. Basic handles up to 50 pages, Standard up to 200 pages with multiple file types, Premium up to 1,000 pages. If you have a database of thousands of records or proprietary formats (SharePoint, Notion, Confluence), message me first
What counts as a revision, and what would be considered new scope?
Revisions cover changes to the chatbot's behavior, prompt tuning, UI adjustments, or fixing responses that aren't accurate. Adding a new document set, changing the underlying language model, adding authentication, or building new features are new scope
I have no technical background. Will I be able to manage this after delivery?
Yes — the Standard and Premium packages include admin dashboards where you can upload new documents without touching any code. The Basic package delivers a working bot, and I'll provide a simple written guide for updating the document set. I'm also available for maintenance retainers if you'd prefer
Do I own the code after delivery?
Completely. All source code, vector database configurations, and deployment files are yours. No subscription fees, no API key lock-in to my accounts. You'll need your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key, which I'll help you set up.
