Which formats can you convert to KiCad?
I convert Altium (SchDoc, PcbDoc), EasyEDA project files, and Eagle (sch, brd) into editable KiCad schematic and PCB files. I can also rebuild a design from a PDF or image if that's all you have.
Will the converted file be exactly the same as the original?
I match the schematic connections, symbols, footprints, layer stack and board outline as closely as KiCad allows. Some library specific parts may need a close equivalent footprint, and I'll flag anything like that before delivery.
Can you also give me Gerber files after the conversion?
Yes, on the Premium package or as an add on. Once your design is rebuilt in KiCad, I export Gerber and drill files checked against JLCPCB and PCBWay capabilities.
What do I need to send you to get started?
Send your source project the Altium, EasyEDA or Eagle files or exported schematic board files, plus the layer count and board size if you know them. Message me before ordering so I can confirm scope and delivery time.
Do I need to own a license for the original software?
No. Once I deliver your KiCad project, you can open and edit it in free KiCad software without needing Altium, EasyEDA or Eagle again
