I fix broken Home Assistant setups and build new ones that run on hardware in your house. Devices that support local control stay local - they keep working when your internet does not - and I will tell you which of yours cannot.
Where this comes from: one production system - my own house, running 24/7, with a smart lock built to a written rule spec and smart devices on their own network lane that can only reach addresses I approved. This is my first Fiverr gig; the discipline is ten years as a field service engineer in semiconductor fabs: back up first, change one thing, test it in front of you, write it down.
Every tier: full backup first, plain-English docs, and you keep every credential and config - zero lock-in.

FAQ
How do you get access to my system, and is that safe?
You choose: a screen-share session where you watch every step, or a temporary account and VPN you create and revoke when we finish. I take a full backup before any change, hand it to you, and document everything I touched. Nothing I install reports back to me.
Besides your fee, what will this cost me?
Home Assistant is free and I charge no subscription. I do not supply hardware - you buy your own from a priced list I give you before you order. Typical extras: a small always-on machine, radios for some devices, and any subscriptions your existing gear requires.
Why pay you more, with no Fiverr reviews yet?
New to Fiverr, not to the work - the work is my own house and network, one production system running 24/7. I have not been paid for home automation before; my day job is ten years of field service engineering. Fiverr holds your payment until you approve delivery.
Which of my devices can you make local?
Send me your device list and I will tell you honestly what I have run myself and what I have not, and which devices are cloud-only by design - my own car, vacuum and thermostat are cloud-based, and I say so. Whatever supports local control stays local.
How local is the voice assistant?
Speech-to-text and text-to-speech run on hardware in your house. The brain is your choice: a local model, which needs a capable machine, or your own cloud API key. My own house uses a cloud brain by deliberate choice - I have not run a fully local brain in production.
Will you automate my door lock?
Yes, carefully. A lock you can control remotely needs its failure modes designed, not hoped away. I engineered my own to a strict written rule spec and keep auto-unlock off at home. Your rules get written down and approved by you before I build. No physical installation.
