FAQ
What do I need to provide before you start?
Please send your final manuscript in DOCX or another agreed editable format, your preferred book format, and any available KDP specifications. If you have a preferred trim size or sample layout, include it too.
Can you format both Kindle ebook and paperback?
Yes, if you select the Premium package. The ebook and print interior require different formatting, so I prepare separate deliverables for the agreed formats.
Will my book be ready to upload to Amazon KDP?
I'll prepare the agreed files according to the applicable format requirements. Amazon KDP reviews uploaded files, so acceptance cannot be guaranteed.
Do you edit or proofread my manuscript?
This service focuses on formatting and layout. Please submit a manuscript that is as final as possible. Proofreading, rewriting, and substantial text corrections are not included unless separately agreed.
Can you format fiction and nonfiction books?
Yes, for suitable text-based manuscripts, including novels, self-help books, guides, and general nonfiction. Please contact me first if your book has complex tables, equations, illustrations, or unusual layouts.
Can I request changes after delivery?
Yes. Each package includes a specified number of revisions for formatting adjustments within the original scope. New content or major layout changes may require an additional offer.
Do you design the book cover?
The listed packages cover the interior, not cover design. I can discuss a separate arrangement if cover design is a service I offer.
Can you fix a KDP formatting error?
I can review the reported issue and assess whether it falls within my formatting service. Please share the error message and the relevant file before ordering so I can confirm the scope.
