If your IoT node requires built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth right out of the box, the ESP32 is best. If your node needs heavy mathematical processing, ultra-low battery sleep states, or complex industrial bus lines (like CAN), the STM32 is preferred.
Do you write the firmware code for the sensors too?
