I will do erp readiness assessment and system selection consulting
About this Gig
Choosing the wrong ERP system can cost you years and hundreds of thousands of dollars. Before you sign a contract or sit through another vendor demo, get an honest, vendor-neutral assessment of whether ERP is even the right move and if so, which systems actually fit how your business operates.
I've spent 35 years in operations, including 20+ ERP implementations and 17 years working directly with Infor's CSI/SyteLine platform for manufacturers and job-based businesses. I've seen ERP projects succeed and I've seen them fail and the difference almost always traces back to what happened before the contract was signed.
What I do:
- Assess your current systems, processes, and data readiness
- Identify the real gaps ERP needs to solve (not just the ones a vendor's sales deck highlights)
- Map your requirements against system categories and vendor fit
- Give you a clear, unbiased readiness snapshot no vendor kickbacks, no bias toward any platform
This isn't a sales pitch disguised as consulting. I don't sell software, resell licenses, or take referral fees from vendors. My only job is making sure you don't waste money on the wrong system or the wrong timing.

FAQ
I don't know if I even need ERP yet — can you still help?
Yes — that's exactly what the Basic package is for. A lot of clients aren't sure ERP is the right move at all. I'll assess your current setup and tell you honestly if ERP is warranted now, or if there's a simpler fix first.
Do you sell or resell any ERP software?
No. I don't sell licenses, take referral commissions, or partner with specific vendors. My assessment is vendor-neutral — my only interest is that you make the right decision for your business.
What do I need to provide before we start?
A general picture of your current systems (spreadsheets, existing software, etc.), your team size, and the main operational pain points you're trying to solve. No formal documentation required — we can talk through it.
Do you recommend specific ERP products?
I'll narrow the field to system categories and vendor types that fit your size, industry, and complexity. For a deeper vendor-by-vendor comparison and selection roadmap, that's covered in the Standard and Premium packages.
How is this different from just asking an ERP vendor for a recommendation?
A vendor's job is to sell you their system — even a good one will frame your needs to fit their product. I have no product to sell, so the assessment reflects what's actually right for your operation, not what closes a
What industries do you work with?
Primarily manufacturers, specialty trade contractors, and other project-based/job-cost operations — the same environments where I've spent most of my 35 years in operations and ERP implementation work.
