I will create 3d cad models and assemblies

About this gig
Using SolidWorks or Fusion360, I provide 3D CAD modeling and assembly services for mechanical parts, products, prototypes, and 3D printing. Whether you have a sketch, an existing STL file, or an idea that needs to become a functional 3D model, I can help bring it to life.
I can:
- Create 3D CAD models from sketches, drawings, or concepts
- Modify, repair, and optimize existing STL files
- Create complex organic and ergonomic shapes
- Build and refine multi-part assemblies
- Apply proper tolerances, clearances, and fit-for-function principles
- Prepare parts for reliable 3D printing and manufacturing
- Turn your idea into a functional, print-ready product
I focus on creating accurate, practical, and manufacturable CAD models tailored to your project's requirements.
- Send me your idea, sketch, STL, or existing CAD files and let's get started.

FAQ
1. What do you need from me to get started?
Please provide as much information as possible, such as sketches, drawings, dimensions, reference images, STL/CAD files, material requirements, and the intended use of the part. Even a rough sketch can be enough to start discussing your project.
2. What file formats can you provide?
I can provide common CAD and 3D printing formats such as STEP, STL, and other formats depending on your project. Let me know which format you need before ordering.
3. Can you modify an existing STL file?
Yes. I can modify, repair, or optimize many existing STL files using Blender or Fusion360. The difficulty depends on the geometry and quality of the original mesh, so please send the file before ordering if significant changes are required.
4. Can you create a 3D model from a sketch or idea?
Yes. I can turn sketches, reference images, dimensions, or product concepts into 3D CAD models. The more dimensions and details you can provide, the more accurately I can create the part.
5. Can you design parts for 3D printing?
Yes. I can prepare parts with 3D printing in mind, including tolerances, clearances, wall thickness, assembly fit, and printability. Please tell me which printing process and material you plan to use if known.
6. Can you create assemblies with multiple parts?
Yes. I can create multi-part CAD assemblies and account for clearances, tolerances, movement, and how the components fit together.
7. Can you design parts for manufacturing other than 3D printing?
Yes, depending on the manufacturing process. Please tell me how the part will be manufactured so I can account for relevant constraints.
8. Can you create organic or ergonomic shapes?
Yes. I can create curved, organic, and ergonomic geometry in addition to traditional mechanical CAD parts. Fusion360 has shape forming and generative design capabilities.
9. Should I contact you before placing an order?
For complex parts, assemblies, or projects where the scope isn't obvious, yes. Sending your files and requirements first allows me to evaluate the project and recommend the appropriate package.
Do you provide the editable/source CAD file?
Yes.
