I will review, fix and verify your excel or chatbot built financial model
Financial models in Excel verified by code, English and French
About this Gig
Built a financial model yourself, or with a chatbot, and need to know it holds up before it reaches a bank, an investor or your board? I review it and fix it.
What you get:
Every formula scanned with an independent recalculation engine (not Excel): #REF!, #DIV/0!, circular references, numbers typed inside formulas, broken links.
Errors fixed; assumptions moved to one sheet; bank-standard colour code (blue inputs, black formulas, green links); Read-me tab.
A signed Verification Report: formula count, error count (0 at delivery), key figures recomputed outside the workbook, stress scenarios tested (sales = 0, churn 50 %), SHA-256 hash of the delivered file.
Scenario switch base / optimistic / pessimistic and bilingual EN/FR labels (Standard and Premium).
A chatbot will not recalculate your file, push it through extreme inputs or sign a report. I do, and one revision round is included.
Finance student, Universite de Sherbrooke (Quebec). Replies within hours, Eastern Time.
Information and analysis only: not investment, tax or accounting advice, and not an audit or attestation.
Service aussi offert en francais.

FAQ
Can you review a model built with a chatbot or from a template?
Yes, that is most of what I receive. Chatbot-built models usually share three problems: numbers typed inside formulas, assumptions scattered across sheets, and formulas that break at zero inputs. I find them with a full recalculation, fix them and list each one in the Verification Report.
Is this an audit?
No. An audit is a CPA engagement giving assurance on financial statements; I am not a CPA and do not provide that. This is a technical review of a spreadsheet: does it compute, does every figure trace to an input, does it survive extreme inputs. The report lists exactly what was tested.
Do you use AI?
Yes, and I say so. AI tools help me draft structure and first-pass formulas. Then every formula is run through an independent recalculation engine, key figures are recomputed outside the workbook, stress tests are run, and I sign the report. Need a no-AI workflow? Tell me before ordering.
Will you change my assumptions?
No. Growth, churn, margins and prices are your decisions. I flag an assumption only when it is inconsistent with the rest of the model or has no source, mark it in yellow and ask. If you have no value at all, I propose a clearly labelled placeholder for you to confirm.
