About me
I'm a native Japanese speaker, and I translate English into Japanese.
I work on business and finance content: product descriptions, website and app
copy, reports, and marketing material.
The Japanese has to read like Japanese. Much English-to-Japanese work is
accurate but instantly recognizable as translated: the register is off, the
rhythm is unnatural, the wording is something no Japanese reader would use.
I read the source, work out who it speaks to, and write for that reader.
I translate everything myself and proofread before delivery. You won't get
raw machine output from me.
