DevOps and Linux Server Engineer, Nginx, Docker, Migrations
About this Gig
I set up and configure Linux servers for production use clean, secure, and documented, so you know what's running and why.
WHAT YOU GET:
- Fresh Linux server setup (Ubuntu/Debian)
- Nginx: reverse proxy, virtual hosts, complex routing rules
- Free SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt) with auto-renewal
- Basic security: firewall, SSH key auth, root login disabled
- Database server setup (MySQL/PostgreSQL) Standard and Premium
- Docker & Docker Compose environment Premium
- Automated backups and basic monitoring Premium
I ALSO HANDLE:
- Apache to Nginx migration
- HestiaCP setup for multi-domain hosting
- Moving an existing site to your server without breaking URLs or rankings
WHY ME:
I build and maintain production infrastructure including a multi-tenant VoIP platform running Kamailio, FreeSWITCH and RTPEngine, where downtime and bad routing are not an option.
I don't guess. If something behaves strangely, I find the cause in logs and configs instead of restarting services and hoping.
Tell me your setup and what you need running I'll explain my approach before you order.

FAQ
Do I need to buy a server first?
Yes — you need an active VPS/VDS with root access (any provider works: DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Contabo, Vultr, etc.). If you haven't bought one yet, message me and I'll suggest a provider and specs that fit your project and budget.
What access do you need from me?
Root SSH access to the server (IP, username, password or SSH key). If a domain is involved, I'll also need access to your DNS settings. You can change all credentials after the work is done.
Can you move my existing website to the new server?
Yes - add the "Website migration" extra. I transfer files, database, and configuration, and keep your URL structure intact so search rankings aren't affected.
What if something breaks after delivery?
If an issue comes from the configuration I set up, I'll fix it — just message me. Problems caused by later changes on your side or by your hosting provider fall outside the order, but I'll tell you what's wrong and what it takes to fix.
