I'll find the holes in your plot, your characters, your world building, your timeline, your magic system. I'll do it, so you don't have to worry that your readers will. I'll help you find what your story needs so that readers don't just read it - they live it.
I'll also let you know if there are problems in readability or frequent errors that could use revising. I can even redline those areas so you have a reference - but I find that in fictional writing, those can also be the author's stylistic choice and they deserve to be on display (when intentional)!

No - developmental editing focuses on feedback and guidance. My goal is to help you strengthen your story while making sure your voice as the author is intact.
Will you proofread?
Developmental editing and the red lines I provide will be focused on your plot, characters, pacing, etc., not your grammar and punctuation. I will of course note those in my editorial summary (and the redlines) as areas that require revisions.
