About me
Writing and reading has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I couldn't get enough, so overtime I ended up working with fellow writers and exchanging manuscripts. Yet I was hungry for more.
For the past 4 years, I have been offering beta reading services within writing circles and professionally, with the sole intention of helping others to find their place in the writing world—and their book's place on someone's bookshelf.
I am from the UK, have an undergraduate degree and currently completing a Creative Writing Masters at the pioneer university for the course in the UK.

Timely, with questions from a readers' point of view is what I was looking for. Delivered on time. Maybe a few more suggestions on what she might do instead of what she pointed out as confusing, but for the most part a great help me in determining where I need to concentrate my editing. She was kind, upbeat and on time.

MJ went through my 150k-word manuscript with the level of detail closer to one I'd expect from a developmental editor than a beta reader. She is kind, yet has no trouble accurately describing issues she found. I would highly recommend her to anyone searching for a beta reader. Easily my first choice for future projects.
