MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way to give Claude and other AI assistants tools. An MCP server exposes your systems as safe, named tools the AI can call.
Does it work with Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cursor?
Yes. Any MCP client works. I test it in the client you use before delivery.
Can the AI change or delete my data?
Only if you ask for write tools, and those need your approval each time. The default is read-only.

Local is simplest for one person. For a team, the Premium package deploys a remote MCP server with API key protection.
