About this gig

A customer pays, and your app still shows them as unpaid. Someone cancels and keeps access. An upgrade works in Stripe and nothing changes in your database.

When that happens, your Stripe integration and your app disagree about who is subscribed. I find out why, fix it, and test it.

WHAT I FIX

  • Webhooks that fail, time out or never arrive
  • Subscription status out of sync with your database
  • Checkout that completes without granting access
  • Upgrades, downgrades and cancellations that don't apply
  • Failed payments and renewals handled wrongly
  • Customer portal setup and bugs

HOW I WORK

  1. Reproduce the issue in Stripe test mode
  2. Trace the event from Stripe to your database
  3. Fix the cause, not the symptom
  4. Re-test and send a short note on what changed

STACK

React, Next.js, Node.js, Stripe, Supabase, PostgreSQL

Built part of your app with Lovable, Bolt, Replit or Claude Code? That's fine. I work in existing codebases.

This gig is for apps that already use Stripe. I don't take WordPress, Shopify or mobile payment work here.

Not sure what's broken? Message me before ordering with what you expected and what happened. I'll tell you which package fits.

I fix broken Stripe billing in SaaS apps: subscriptions, webhooks and the sync between Stripe and your database. If customers pay and stay locked out, or cancel and keep access, that is the problem I work on. I work in React, Next.js and Node.js, with Supabase or PostgreSQL, and I'm comfortable in existing codebases, including ones partly built with Lovable, Bolt or Claude Code. I reproduce the issue in test mode, fix the cause, and show you each billing event updating your app correctly. Message me with what you expected and what happened instead.
