Can you match on company name only, ignoring person names?
Absolutely. I can apply fuzzy matching to any column — just tell me which fields to use. Company‑only matching is a common request for account‑based dedup.
Do you merge duplicates or just flag them?
I can do either. Default is to merge into one “best” record (keeping the most complete info) and provide a report. If you prefer only flagging, I’ll add a “DuplicateGroup” column instead.
What if “John Smith” and “John Smyth” are different people?
I set a high‑accuracy fuzzy threshold (typically >90%) so true duplicates merge while real distinct leads stay separate. You can also provide a “do not merge” list of protected names.
Can you clean phone numbers and addresses too?
Yes. I can normalize phone formats, standardize addresses, and use them as additional matching fields. Just mention it when you share your file.
