What does the editing include?
It depends on the package. All packages include structural editing and tone consistency. The Standard package adds section rewriting, and the Premium package includes full developmental editing. Line editing and other services can be added as extras. Proofreading is not included.
What kind of manuscripts do you edit?
I work with literary fiction, contemporary novels, character-driven stories, and emotionally rich narratives. I do not currently offer poetry or academic editing.
What's the difference between line editing and developmental editing?
Line editing focuses on sentence-level flow, tone, and word choice. Developmental editing looks at the big picture: plot, pacing, character arcs, and narrative structure. Both are available as add-ons or included in higher packages.
Can I speak with you before or after editing?
Absolutely! You can add a 30-minute Zoom consultation when ordering. We can discuss your story, your goals, and anything else you'd like me to know.
