I was hired to work on a football sports highlight project and started by analysing how I could help bring the client’s vision to life through professional video editing. My role involved transforming raw match footage into engaging, high-energy highlight videos designed for social media and sports promotion. At first delivery, there was a small mistake in the timing and transition flow, which Joel pointed out to me. I immediately took responsibility and made the necessary corrections, ensuring the final output matched the client’s expectations. This experience strengthened my attention to detail and reinforced my commitment to delivering client satisfaction above everything else. Through this project, I applied advanced editing techniques including slow motion replays, speed ramps, dynamic transitions, color correction, and background music synchronization to enhance viewer engagement. I also structured clips in a way that highlighted key moments such as goals, assists, tackles, and match-winning plays. The final result was a polished and professional sports highlight video that improved audience engagement and received positive feedback from the client. This project further developed my ability to work under feedback, adapt quickly, and deliver high-quality sports content that meets professional standards.
