Do I need to provide the editable source code (.mq5)?
Yes. I need the raw source file (.mq5) to edit and recompile the program in MetaEditor. I cannot modify compiled .ex4 or .ex5 executable files.
Will you change my trading strategy rules?
No. My sole focus is to make your existing strategy perform as intended by resolving syntax errors, runtime bugs, and order execution bottlenecks.
What if my EA compiles cleanly but doesn't place any trades in backtesting?
This is usually caused by logic condition errors or incorrect indicator buffer calls. Select the Standard Package, and I will debug the execution logic inside the Strategy Tester.
