With experience in many different MCUs and sensors across my career, I can quickly start adding features and fixing bugs within your product, no matter the component selection. By always writing hardware abstraction layers, the majority of the code I create can be used across all devices. This reduces your development time if you ever need to make hardware changes, such as a new product version.

Having worked on safety critical firmware, such as an industrial robotic arm, I am adept to following strict coding guidelines (Barr Group, MISRA) and industry practices. This level of expertise & diligence reduces you and your customers risk of bugs.

Alongside high quality code, I always provide good documentation and code annotations to ensure any future developers can quickly work with what I produce.

Out of my experience, some particular areas to highlight are:

* OTA updates - Implemented 3 independent fully robust update systems all with guaranteed fallbacks, meaning there is no risk of devices becoming bricked

* Bluetooth - Worked on two different products that used BLE to communicate with apps, other devices & beacons

* Low energy - Created wearables with a 10 day battery life
