I'm a Grandmaster Master Yi OTP on the Brazilian server, reaching Grandmaster by playing almost exclusively Master Yi. I also reached Master on the North American server while playing with 140ms, and climbed on an account with Challenger MMR despite the high latency. That experience taught me that game knowledge, decision-making, and consistency matter far more than perfect mechanics or low ping.
