I worked with an early-stage legal-tech startup developing a compliance automation platform for NBFCs, where I assisted in translating complex regulatory requirements into software-driven compliance workflows. My role involved independently developing labour-law compliance checklists aligned with the new Labour Codes and applicable rules, while also drafting key HR and governance policies, including POSH, Maternity Benefit, Employee Code of Conduct, and Separation & Termination policies. I contributed to the preparation of RBI Master Direction-based compliance frameworks covering Scale Based Regulation (SBR), Asset Liability Management (ALM), Stress Testing, Fair Practices Code, KYC and outsourcing compliance, and corporate governance controls. Additionally, I conducted regulatory applicability assessments for Base Layer and Middle Layer NBFCs, focusing on prudential norms, board governance, liquidity risk management, and supervisory expectations, while supporting compliance mapping across key RBI regulatory frameworks.
