Should I message you before ordering?
Yes, please. Send the error message, a screenshot and how you installed n8n. I'll confirm the right package, so you never pay for the wrong one.
What happens if you can't fix my issue?
If I can't fix a Basic issue, I cancel the order with a full refund. I also tell you honestly before starting if something looks outside the package.
Is upgrading to n8n v2 risky?
It can be, because v2 changes security defaults and how Code nodes run. That's why I take a full backup first and review n8n's Migration Report before changing anything.
Can I go back to v1 if something breaks?
Yes. Before upgrading I back up your database, data folder and encryption key. If needed, I restore that backup on your previous version.
Why does my encryption key matter?
n8n uses it to decrypt your saved credentials. Without it, every credential must be re-entered. I back it up and confirm it matches before any change.
What access do you need?
A temporary sudo user with my SSH key, sent in the order chat. For workflow fixes, access to your n8n editor. Remove my access after delivery.
Will my workflows keep working after v2?
Most do. The Migration Report shows which ones are affected, and I fix those as part of Standard or Premium, up to the package limit.
Do you fix n8n Cloud issues?

Will you move my execution history to PostgreSQL?
Workflows and credentials move over. Old execution logs usually don't, and they're rarely needed. I'll confirm with you first.
How do I stop this happening again?
Pin your n8n version, back up automatically and update on a schedule. I include those steps, or I can do it monthly for you.
