The SQL Server Maintenance Solution is comprised of scripts for running backups, integrity checks, index maintenance (defrags) and updating statistics on all supported versions and editions of Microsoft SQL Server 2012, SQL Server 2014, SQL Server 2016, SQL Server 2019, and SQL Server 2022.
The solution is based on smart / metadata-driven stored procedures to detect the appropriate parameters to use while executing native built-in SQL Server (TSQL) maintenance commands and SQL Server Agent jobs. This solution was designed for the most mission-critical environments.
The solution includes Database Mail setup for job failure notifications and an SSRS report to visualize the Maintenance execution results.

Does this work on non Microsoft SQL Server platforms?
No. This solution is only designed for on-Premisis SQL Servers (Any supported version and edition). Note that SQL Server Express will work, but does not have SQL Agent feature for scheduling jobs.
Is SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) Required to view the report?
No, SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) will render SSRS reports (*.RDL files). SSRS is not required.
