I will 3d rigging and technical art for 3d animation

About this gig
Rigging = building the skeleton so your character can dance.
Every 3D model starts as a lifeless mesh rigging is what gives it bones, joints, and controls so animators can actually pose it.
Skeleton A joint hierarchy (shoulder elbow wrist) that mimics anatomy. Rotate a parent joint, and everything below it follows.
Skinning Binding mesh vertices to those joints via weight painting, so skin bends smoothly instead of tearing or folding at joints.
Controls Animator-friendly handles (not raw joints!) placed at hands, feet, hips the "steering wheel" for the skeleton underneath.
IK vs FK Two ways to move a limb:
- FK: rotate each joint one by one (great for sweeping arcs)
- IK: grab the hand/foot, the rest solves itself (great for planting feet)
Extras Corrective shapes and blend shapes fix ugly deformation at extreme poses (shoulders, faces).
Bottom line: rigging is technical puppeteering you build the strings before the character can move a muscle.
