Q: What do you need to begin working on my book cover?
I need title of your book, any subtitle it has, and the author's name. If you're going for a full cover, let me know: The exact size, how many pages your book has, and any text you want on the back cover.
Q: What format will I get when the order is finished?
After your order is complete, you'll get one of these formats, depending on the package you choose: A JPG file for the final e-book. A 3D mock-up. A high-resolution PDF that's ready for printing. A 3D mock-up specifically for a paperback. The source file in either PSD or AI format.
Q: What does "source file" mean?
The source file is the editable file in Photoshop format (PSD/AI). It's where I craft your book cover design. Having this file can be handy if you ever want to make changes on your own, even after the order is done. While it's recommended to have it, the decision is entirely yours.
Q: What is a Social Media Kit?
A Social Media Kit is something many clients ask for because they think it's great for promoting their book on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. This kit for your book cover includes a banner and post for these platforms, both featuring 3D mockups of your book cover along with key information
Q: Can I reach out to you for changes after the order is finished?
Absolutely! Feel free to contact me anytime. Please note that there is an additional minimum fee for this service.
Q: Can you resize or adjust a rejected book cover?
Certainly! If your book cover is facing rejection from platforms like Amazon Kindle or IngramSpark, just drop me a message, and I can fix it for a small fee.
Q: Important Information on Stock Images License Policy
The images I use are licensed photos and vector files. During the proposal stage, I'll let you know whether the images are licensed or free. If licensed, I'll share a link for you to purchase these image or vector files, which I'll need for the final handouts.
