I analyze the transaction's nature using the information provided in bank and credit card statements. Yet, I don't entirely rely on QuickBook's artificial intelligence and description. If necessary, I will create an excel question page to ask you about the objective of the transaction.
Why do you ask for QuickBooks access before an order placement?
I make sure that client’s books are ready for the work the client is asking for. If I found discrepancies in the books which need to be rectified before I start my job. I point out those to the client if the client agrees to rectify them. Then I will move forward.
How do I give you access to my QuickBooks Online ?
Login into your QuickBooks Online account. On the right top, click the "Gear icon (cogwheel) -> Manage Users -> Accounting Firms -> Invite".
My Bank/Credit Card account is connected to QuickBooks. Then why you need statements in PDF format?
Even your Bank/Credit Card is connected to your QBO account. I will need statements for cross-checking transactions with the QBO register, reconciliation and adjusting PayPal/Stripe fees appropriately.
