What projects do you design?
House extensions, loft and garage conversions, structural alterations, small outbuildings and full new builds.
What do you require to start a project?
Please provide your project location, existing drawings and plans, project scope and any specific requirements from your local authority. Photos of the existing building, where applicable For premium packages, a full well detailed architectural set of drawings for Building Warrant will be required.
Do you provide structural calculations?
Provision of structural calculations and reports can be discussed on project by project basis, depended on project scope, selected project package and local authority requirements.
Can you use an existing PDF or hand-drawn sketch?
Existing drawings or hand sketches can be converted to editable CAD files, provided that the reference information and dimensions are clear enough.
Do you design roof trusses?
No, where prefabricated timber roof trusses are the preferred roof type, the design would normally be carried out by a specialist who would also be the supplier. I will provide the necessary loading for the design. All other roof types will be designed as part of the package, where applicable.
Can you provide drainage design?
Yes, small scale domestic drainage design can be provided, subject to provision of the required soil infiltration results for the site.
