- Manage and maintain accurate accounting records for a UK-registered charitable organization. - Record, categorize, and reconcile income and expenditure transactions in accordance with the organization’s accounting policies. - Prepare and maintain financial records for charity programs, administrative activities, and project-related expenses. - Monitor and classify expenses between Program Services and Management & General activities for accurate financial reporting. - Prepare monthly and annual financial summaries, including Income & Expenditure Statements, Balance Sheet information, and project-level financial reports. - Review bank transactions, supporting documents, receipts, and payment records to ensure completeness and accuracy. - Track restricted and project-related funds and ensure expenditures are properly allocated to the relevant programs. - Assist with year-end closing procedures and preparation of financial information required for reporting and audit purposes. - Maintain supporting documentation and accounting schedules for transparency and audit readiness. - Analyze financial data and provide clear summaries of revenue, expenditure, and program spending to support management decision-making. - Ensure financial records are organized and maintained in a manner appropriate for a UK charity environment. - Supported financial reporting for projects including livelihood restoration and Ramadan food distribution programs in Bangladesh.
