The website itself serves as the primary information and lead-generation channel for prospective residents and their families, so my work is focused on keeping it accurate, functional, and easy to navigate at all times. This includes regularly updating service pages that cover personal care, health services, nursing and medication management, housekeeping and meal preparation, recreational programs, and safety features, so that the information families see always reflects the community's current offerings. I also maintain the site's blog, which publishes articles addressing senior care topics relevant to Minnesota families, helping the site stay current and useful for people researching care options. On the technical side, I manage the contact form, the online application system, and the virtual tour feature, testing them regularly to make sure inquiries and applications from prospective residents are reliably captured and delivered, since a broken form on a healthcare site directly costs the business real leads. Beyond content updates, my maintenance work covers routine WordPress upkeep: applying theme and plugin updates safely, monitoring site speed and uptime, fixing any layout or functionality issues that come up after updates, and keeping the FAQ section current as questions about care types, costs, and admission change. Because this is a healthcare-adjacent site aimed at families making sensitive decisions about a loved one's care, accuracy, trust, and a smooth, working experience across the site matter more than on a typical marketing site — every page needs to load correctly and every form needs to work the first time, since a visitor rarely gets a second chance to try again.

As a WordPress Developer at Bear My Brand, I have built and maintained more than 50 websites for clients across different industries, working primarily with WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce. My day-to-day work covers the full lifecycle of a website project: turning designs into responsive, fully functional pages with Elementor and Elementor Pro, setting up and customizing WooCommerce stores including product catalogs, payment gateways, shipping rules, and checkout flows, and making sure every site is fast, secure, and easy for the client's own team to update after handoff. Beyond building new sites, I regularly handle ongoing WordPress work: fixing bugs and plugin conflicts, resolving security issues, optimizing page speed and Core Web Vitals, and keeping themes and plugins updated without breaking existing functionality. I also work directly with clients to translate business requirements into practical website features, whether that means a custom booking form, a product filter, or an integration with a third-party service. This role has given me hands-on experience across the full range of WordPress and WooCommerce development, from small business landing pages to more complex e-commerce builds, and has sharpened both my technical skills and my ability to manage client expectations, timelines, and revisions throughout a project.
