FAQ
What makes Squarespace sites slow?
The main culprits are large uncompressed images, render-blocking Google Fonts, poorly written custom code injections, third-party scripts (social widgets, chat), and video backgrounds. All of these are fixable and I target each one specifically.
What PageSpeed score can I expect on Squarespace?
Squarespace 7.1 sites typically reach 80–100 on desktop and 50–70 on mobile after thorough optimization. Squarespace 7.0 sites have more limitations. I'll give you a specific target after reviewing your site.
Will my Squarespace design change?
No. All changes are behind-the-scenes loading improvements. Your site will look exactly the same — it will just load much faster. I test on a duplicated version where possible before applying to the live site.
Do you optimize Squarespace Online Store pages too?
Yes, including product pages, category pages, and checkout flow. Faster Squarespace store pages improve Google Shopping rankings and reduce cart abandonment.

Website loading was greatly improved. Mobile uploading was only nominally improved, but he noted that nothing more can be done. Keep in mind that full ownership permissions must be given for editing purposes.

No improvement, accessibility went down 5 points too. I was able to get into the codes on my website and clean them up myself. I wouldn't waste your money.
