I will beta read your adult fiction novel, specialising in fantasy, sci fi and dark romance.
How I work:
- I prefer working in Microsoft Word
- You will get inline comments from me with my first impressions as a reader as I go through your chapters.
- Anything I'm thinking, questions I have, things I'm loving, or moments that don't quite land for me you'll know.
- At the end, I'll write up my overall thoughts, comments, and suggestions in a reader report, then hand everything back to you.
- I won't accept manuscripts that have been AI generated. Human words only please!

No. I have yet to find a single trigger warning or subject that has been off limits for me.
What software do you use?

What genres do you specialise in?
I specialise in romance (esp fantasy, sci-fi and dark). I’m also comfortable with others genres too, so if you’re unsure whether your book is a good fit, feel free to message me before ordering and I can have a look!
Do you correct grammar or spelling?
No, as this is beta reading, not copyediting or proofreading. I may point out something that’s confusing or pulls me out of the story, but my focus is on reader experience, pacing, clarity, and engagement rather than technical corrections.
How detailed is the feedback?
You’ll receive inline comments throughout the manuscript with my first impressions as a reader, plus a reader report at the end with my overall thoughts, strengths, and suggestions for improvement.
Can you read explicit or spicy content?
Yes! I’m comfortable reading spicy content! If you have specific content warnings you’d like me to be aware of, you’re welcome to share them.
Why do I need to message before placing an order?
